Youth Club is a Friday night opportunity to do something different with friends from school. We meet afterschool until 6:00. My wife, Emilie, and I are the Youth Club leaders. The pictures below show some of the activities that students enjoy after school when they are hanging out together.
Air Park: June 3, 2016 This building is close to school and is full of trampolines. The Youth Club had fun playing dodge ball, basketball, wall climbing, and free jumping. I think it was the most popular event of the year and a great way to end our Youth Club year. |

Archery: March 4, 2016 Many students joined us on our trip to a new archery range. Some students had never held a bow before. Andee had taken lessons when she was younger and helped Ms. Jacquie, who joined us for the night. A thank you to Ms. Jacquie and Mr. Brad for helping out! |

Ski Trip: January 21, 2016 Although this was not a Youth Club activity, I made a video to share with the kids. We took a day and went to Jimo, about an hour away. This was a day for all the secondary students to play on skis. |

Holiday Skating: December 11, 2015
We had half a day off of school, so the Youth Club jumped a public bus to MixC Shopping Center, had lunch there, and took to the ice. Christmas music was playing in English and it felt like Christmas had come early.

Pizza Making: November 6, 2015
We set up our own Pizzeria in the school cafeteria and made pizza from scratch. We even made the dough! We brought in all of the ingredients and only forgot the hotpads! Afterward, the kids ate their pizzas and took home the recipe. Thank you to Ms. Canan and Mr. Murat for helping me out!

We went to the bowling alley near the Qingdao Crown Regency Hotel. Most students had been bowling before, but not all. Check out our video of the highlights of the night.
